Beasts, Babes, and Brutes: Football Tailgating Art

These photos were taken a few blocks from the metrodome in Minneapolis, the home of the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesotans treat tailgating like Mardi Gras, except that tailgating happens before every home game. The game against the Green Bay packers is the big one, and the theme of the Packers is Cheese. The Viking team colors are purple and Gold -- note the earrings, facial paint, underwear, and even one fan's contact lenses.
