The images shown in this Gallery are about the “Pre” "Mid" and "Post" scenes of the Navarre Beach Nourishment Project. The first group of images shown is of the very western end of Navarre Beach. The last group of images is of the eastern end of Navarre Beach. The mission here is to show the beach erosion caused by Hurricane Ivan on September 16, 2004, Hurricane Dennis on July 10, and the effects of other hurricanes and tropical storms of the summer of 2005. Weeks Marine is the contractor of the Nourishment Project and made the decision to start on the western end of the beach, because the erosion seemed more severe.

I will be shooting photos of the “pre” “mid” and “post” scenes of the Navarre Beach Nourishment Project, which is scheduled to start in late February 2006 and is supposed to be completed in approximately 180 days. I’ll be taking shooting photos during all of the stages. Come back to this Gallery frequently, because I will be adding images every few days.
