Thanks for leaving a comment on the sleeping puppy at Wat Chedi Luang. I usually hate "cute", but I gave in for this one.

Glad you liked the Buddha images gallery. I started it only because I wanted to post some pix that would be redundant in the galleries they really belong in, i.e., the multitude of Buddha images in the cloister of the Marble Temple. And I'm surprised at the popularity of the gallery, but then I'm often surprised at what people click on as opposed to what I think is a good photo. Ah well. As the Thais say, "Mai pen rai".

Love the shot of the dog on the stairway leading to the giant Buddha image in Pattaya. Thanks for sending it.

Thanks, Herve. Glad you liked the new photos of Calypso & took the time to say so. The Korean number was in the show the first time I went to Calypso. It's just recently been recycled. This time, fortunately, I had a camera that could do at least some justice to the piece.

Je suis très impressionné par tes galeries.
J'y ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à m'y promener cette nuit.
C'est un endroit idéal pour un insomniaque comme moi.

Herve , Thank you for your comment and visit to my gallery. I guess the next parade will be Chinese New Year , or is there something before that? I hope to go to it . I went to the Moon Festival yesterday , but didn't find much to shoot . I have a few posted in my San Francisco gallery.

Herve, you have so many beautiful and touching images here. I can feel it from your work that Asian countries and its people give you so much inspiration, and in return you give so much of yourself to the people you photograph. I can see the interaction of trust, respect and so much more from every kind, smiling face! Thanks for making those images! I will come back often..

Hello you good king,

I think this account contains a lot of really good work that people should see.
I will take some time to browse through it more in detail, and will come back to check your part of pBase from time to time.

Thank you for your kind and perceptive comments on my galleries. I looked at one of your
Thailand galleries. The reactions of the people to having their picture taken is quite interesting. Maybe the next time I travel abroad I will give it a try.

This is a beautiful site. The pictures are raw, emotional, and thought provoking. Thanks so much for sharing them. I think my favorite are the pictures taken in The Monastery and some from Mandalay.
Thanks again!

Glad you like my photos of Thailand. I agree with you: a lot of galleries on the kingdom don't do the place justice. And BTW, I really enjoyed browsing your galleries. Left some comments on favorites. Particularly like the one of Songkran. I wouldn't dare take my camera out on that crazy, water soaked occasion.

Your Varanasi galleries are the best I have seen. Your best shots have both an unassuming quality, still going straight to the point of the subject and its humanity. Have a nice trip thru Asia, this winter!

And a wonderful start you have made. These galleries pull me back to the many places I learned to love in Asia as well.
Your comments about ASIA the experience ring so very close to my own feelings of traveling there.
It is a mind-expanding adventure I wouldn't have missed for anything and hope to add to again soon.
Love your work and appreciate your kind words.
All the best!
