This is on the way to Jacob Lake, from which point you turn on to the road to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The road heads north into the valley and then makes a U-turn as it crosses Marble Canyon and the Colorado river, to run south next to Vermillion Cliffs, before turning west at the end of the cliff face.
