Monarch butterfly ( Danaus plexippus)

Reveler Conservation Area

The only Monarch butterfly I saw at Reveler Conservation Area in 2015, and one of only a few I saw all summer. A very poor year for this species. I wonder what 2016 will hold for them?

Same here, Christine. I saw maybe three at most. This one is beautiful. Nice color on him and the purple aster. Vote.
