Henry's elfin butterfly (Callophrys henrici)

Reveler Conservation Area

This is another early spring butterfly. It is quite small, and looks like a dark brown moth fluttering fast through the woods. But seeing it up close, when it lands, shows its intricate patterns and subtle colouring.

It is indeed intricately patterned. I'm guessing it is a lycaenid?
