Luna moth (Actias luna), #7758

Larose Forest

We were about to pack up our equipment just before 3 a.m. this morning, when this moth appeared, faded and worn, not in the best shape, but still beautiful. We should have stayed until dawn, which was only a few hours away, because who knows what else might have appeared.
