Might as well Jump!

Beechwood Cemetery

A few days ago saw more jumping turkeys. The crabapples are getting more difficult for these birds to reach now but this one was energetically jumping. Made me think of Van Halen's "Jump" (one of my favourite songs when I need to feel energized! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwYN7mTi6HM

"Ah, might as well jump (jump)
Might as well jump
Go ahead and jump (jump)
Go ahead and jump"

C’est étonnant pour moi de voir des dindes sauvages et encore + de les voir sauter pour ce nourrir.
C’est une excellente photo.

A well captured image with a good jumping pose captured Christine.

I guess it's showing initiative! Great timing to catch this moment.

Great catch! We've had them wander through the yard on occasion, but not since the neighbors let their dogs run loose. :-(

Back in Edmonton my dog Max would jump for apples. Our trees were cleaned out except for the higher branches.

Go ahead and jump...especially when cool temps and food scarcity play into survival. Great action moment.

I wonder why they just don't fly up into the tree, they do around here. This is a neat action shot!
