Stopping for a rest along a forest trail in early October, just as the leaves were beginning to turn colour. The bells on Cleo's collar are because it was (and is) hunting season in the forest; I also had bells tied to my jacket. We made quite a racket as we walked, unfortunately, but better safe than not.
