Finally got better pics of a perched immature of this uncommon, endemic raptor. Wish the background is better, but I'll take this rare opportunity any time it is presented...;-)

Amazing that I can crop the photo to 4.3 MP and still blow it up to a net size of 10.5x14 (after margins) , with intact fine detail even when viewed up close.
