kenya Photo Gallery by little

We arrived in Kenya towards the end of November and stopped at the border to pick up two armed guards who escorted us through 'bandit country'. The guards travelled in the cab of the truck and this journey nearly went horribly wrong when one of our guys banged on the roof of the cab to get the driver's attention. Apparently, the guards grabbed their guns as they belived the noise to be gun shots! I'm glad to say we all arrived safe & sound at the police camp in Tulbi and headed off the next day to Marsabit, where we proceeded to find the nearest bar, to celebrate our arrival in a new country!

Trying to find someone involved with the Chimp Santuary in Kenya ( Sweetwater )also previously in Burundi and Uganda by the name of Clair (Australian ) for an old friend who has lost contact, also someone who deals with Monkey Charites by the name of Goodfellow. Thanks for your message, it was really nice. I think about the trip a lot and find it also cheers me up when I've had a bad day. Mr friend Chris (pictured with the kind of mohican style haircut) had been to Nakuru the year before and had also worked at one of the schools, although I don't think it was deaf children. I'll check out your site, thanks again for your comments.

Hi I am a fellow Africa visitor. and I was there three years ago to live with a deaf school in Nukuru. My mom is the leader of this group and goes back once or twice a year. She is going tomorrow and told me that she was going to visist the sweetwater safari trip, and to check it out on the internet I did a search and found your webisite. I just find it so facinating because some of those pictures that you have I litterally have exact replicas of just with me in them instead. It just reminds me of what a small world it is and your pictures really made my day that was not so good, a whole lot better by reminding me of this simple thing. Thank you and look our group up on the internet. It is called the Youth Linc. from Salt Lake City.
