Max

This was what I loved most in my life and lost in January 2004. Max has been by my side day and night for close to 13 long years. Years, i will never forget. 90000 miles on the raod on a bike, he visited all major countries of West- and Eastern-Europe with me. His favoured place was the Garda Lake in Italy. Until I will leave for the Philippines, this kind of friendship will not be renewed. This causes a very big empty space in my life.

It's so easy to pour our hearts into these beings who eagerly lap it up, and then return it, in their small measure, without conditions. He had a wonderful life with you. I believe that even though our pets are gone, they still exist in our happy memories. I'm sorry for your loss.

You share a history with Max, so it is understandable you feel a huge part of your life is missing right now. I'm sorry for your loss, I've been through it too. I lost my dog in 1999, she was 12 going on 13 and I still miss her. It never goes away. Be happy for the years you spent together and never forget the memories, they are priceless.

So, so sad, Lou, but remember the great times you had together. You gave a special dog a special life. He was a cutie. I swear, I think dogs can see our souls.
