Black-Crowned Night Herons in a Cypress tree.
I was too far away to get a closeup of these guys. I spotted them in a tree while I was out on my lunch hour.
I know it looks wintery and cold, but it was almost 80 degrees today.

I think sometimes birds look better in context and this is a case in point. I know everyone wants a super detailed close up but seeing them in their habitat is nice too. Great composition with the trees and building in the background. V.
