Torrent Oilfield

Galveston Island. Texas

There are only a few cattle ranches left on Galveston Island. This is the Moody ranch which holds two oilfields maintained by Torrent; the Sweetwater Lake Oilfield and Aquarium Oilfield.

Here, we think of oilfields as places out at sea. But we have a handful of small inland ones.

there's a visceral salute to ranching, and an almost sub-tropical feel to the growth...well composed to coax out a view beyond the gate..
