Spring sunshine

Another lovely spring day with lots of sunshine.
And while I didn't see much of it, being stuck in an office all day, I enjoyed a few minutes in the garden at lunchtime.
Tried out my old OM 50mm lens again and I'm liking the results.
Took hundreds of photos at yesterday's St Patrick's Day parade so I am slowly going through them.

I do like the contrast between the well lit outer petals and the well shadowed inner ones. It's an advantage of the softer light in Irish latitudes that you can get that distinction without harsh transitions.
