Retail therapy

First time in IKEA since the pandemic.
Reckoned it best to go while masks are still mandatory.
Went in for a cheese grater and came out with lots of things but
no cheese grater as they didn't have the one I wanted.
Even worse, they didn't have any cinnamon buns.

No cinnamon buns....that's an outrage! Love their cinnamon buns.

I wish we had IKEA here. No such luck. The yellow letters are beckoning. V

It could have been worse... they could have HAD the Swedish meatballs in stock.
I need to get a new chair from there too (well, not that SPECIFIC one, but an Ikea which is a bit closer), because the gas lift on this one is long since dead. Unfortunately there is the issue of kat klaw marks on the back of it whenever I'm focused on work instead of 'tenshunz.

Best to go when there are few people there, masks or no masks. I buy Matjes Herring and Fish Roe in a tube there.

hot stuff...their bold sign is iconic on the big box scene...goodness knows how many basket stuffers they stock to make sure everybody buys something...pity no baked treat though..

Good that you got some retail therapy, and I agree, better to get it while masks are still required. Hard to imagine the supply chain crisis affecting cinnamon buns, too!

Things are getting worse by the day if there is no a bun crisis too !
