Vintage

It's somewhat funny to think that my first serious camera, an Olympus OM 10, is now regarded as vintage.
I bought it on a trip to London in 1985 - the same year I met my husband.
I guess that makes him vintage too.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II

Love this - I still have my first camera too, a sturdy Practica which I got back in 1983. Lots of memories made by these old film cameras :o)

Ah yes, of course... it makes... HIM vintage. 8^>
If it makes you feel any better - you may or may not have heard - but the company that bought the Olympus camera business has returned to the OM designation with the new OM1 to replace the E-M1. I suspect that we'll see an OM5 and a shiny new digital OM10 in due course, so everything old will be new again. It'll be time to go back to wearing your hair big and listening to Cyndi Lauper, but you won't need to wait a week for your photos to be processed. (Unless you're using Photoshop, since that's its average start time these days.)

A classic. Probably still works.

The OM1 was my first professional camera. I "inherited" it from my much older husband who bought it new "back in the day" before he met me. Old Oly film cameras were great!!! BTW, my hubby is vintage, too. Just like yours. Love your photos and the memories.

Nice looking camera for its time, and very funny observation about your husband!
