The Ben Crom Reservoir

The Ben Crom Reservoir in the Mourne Mountains was constructed between 1953 and 1957, and along with the Silent Valley Reservoir, provides water for the city of Belfast.
The dam is 125 feet high and 706 feet wide.

This is interesting. I had never really thought of Ireland as needing dams because... well, it's not that either rain or rivers are in short supply, but I suppose it makes it easier to do water treatment. It's tiny by Australian standards (the main one-of-many dams for Sydney being 142 metres (466 feet) high and 351 metres (1,152 feet) wide), but hey, Australia. Not as much rain. Sometimes.
