Thanks for your nice comment on my butterfly shot. Most of the butterfly shots were from the Dallas Arboretum. Their gardens attract a great number of butterflies, especially late summer and fall. With digital, the chances of getting a keeper greatly improve. Have been enjoying your galleries!

Oh, I forgot to tell you that the one of Jonathan alone is great! I'd love a copy of that. Despite my not smiling wonderfully, all of the others were awesome, too. You truely are talented and need to DO something w/the talent!!!

Mark, Nice body of work you have here. You have a fine eye and I look forward to returning for more as time allows.

And....I'll be junking up your galleries plenty during those times - that's what the comment box is there for right?

I Visited your web page. sounds like you have a very refreshing view on life. It is very precarious. I have found new meaning through my children. I have seen to much in my life. Things that Most people will never even have a glimpse of in their lifetime. It has brought a great understanding and appreciation of life to me. As I can see your experience has to you.I guess that is one of the reasons that I enjoy Photography so much. It's my own little Historical record for my children. I know that after I am gone it will be something that thet will cherish and remember me by.Keep on snapping! Phil

Rather than junking up your galleries with comments all over the place I'll just say here how much I enjoy your work. Great eye, excellent composition, love how you see the fine details in life....clouds, tadpoles, flowers, and what a Cheerio looks like floating on the water...(is that what that is?! second pic: Sigma 70-300mm lens) You're so alive and aware of everything around you and it comes through in your pictures. The titles on your pictures are entertaining too. "beef, it's what's for dinner" -not only a good shot, but she looks tasty too. Excellent - Keep it up!

I just bought a rebel today. I hope I can take pictures like those u have taken. They r outstanding. The colors are so vivid. Were any of those taken on Auto or did u use manual settings? I am now using a canon s30. I think this will be quite an upgrade.
Thanks for posting the pictures. It allowed me to see the rebels capabilities.
