It was nice to see the birds of Africa...I am from the Smoky Mountains of TN. Built our home after it was framed in, where I used mose of my artistic tallent decorating and oil painting pictures that matched. Turning my attention to the garden later adding more and more, accidentially creating a habitat for Anolis Carolinensis Lizards. Watergardening, small trees and schrubs added to the property ajoining the Foothills to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. All the rocks, water, and plants they like, but I enjoy photographing them, and the fact they eat the pests in the garden. My account has expired, but view Gourley Garden, or Private Paradise

I shall unashamedly praise Mr B for the following. Great images, great slagger and I mean that in a positive note, as he has taught me so much that it has improved my images and technique and has given me the confidence to crit, be critted in a fair honest and decent manner. He still is a #$%^ but a great and lovable one. Thanks steve. Rudes

Hello Steve
Thanks for commenting on my shots, particularly the lion attacking the elephant in Chobe NP.
You might be interested to know that the young elephant had been seen by itself on both sides of the Chobe river during the previous day and the speculation was that its mother must have died. The adult male elephant that was with it didn't try very hard to defend it.
You have many wonderful shots in your galleries. I'm envious of your location - it takes me 24 sleepless hours and A$2000 to get to Sth Africa.
Regards
Michael
