Hi Michael.

I'm the Picture Editor at COAST Magazine, and I wonder if you can help.... We're running a travel feature on beach huts in the Mudeford area, and I was wondering whether we might be able to use some of your lovely images. We print at 300dpi - so we would need quite large files (I'm not sure how large your original files are) We also do pay a republication fee for re-uses.

It would be great if you could let me know your thoughts..

Many thanks
Suzy

Hi, My name is Jeannine Buckeridge. My greatgrandfather migrated from Scotland to Jamaica where my family stayed for some years before immigrating to America. Just wondering if there is any connection between the family. Email me at Eleazer82@aol.com

Thank you Tony...I was only there for an hour and a half and don't know the place so appreciate your comments. Regards, Mike.

Michael,
Thought you captured Southend-on-Sea on a warm summers afternoon perfectly.Having lived there you caught every scene to perfection.

Rebecca, many thanks for your comments about the Bourne show pictures. I enjoyed taking them though there are quite a lot of shots I wish I had got or done better...often the way! No I don't do weddings...they take a special set of skills and I only have a few of them!! Thanks for asking though as I take the question as a compliment! Regards, Mike.
Robert Gale 21-Jul-2006 14:46
Great pictures of the Bourne Show again Mike, and many thanks - I see you've already got them up here, and they are also on the Bourne Show web site. (BTW, I wanted to forward a request for using some of the pictures to you but find I don't have your e-mail - could you forward it to me - thanks.)

Robert.

Mark, many thanks for your kind comment. You are not the only Buckeridge without talent...you haven't met the rest of my family!! Until I started taking pictures 3 years ago, I thought I was without talent....so go try some different things...you might surprise yourself! Anyway, Where are you from? Thanks again,
Mike.
Mark Buckeridge 04-May-2006 13:21
I must be the only Buckeridge without talent. Your photos look great.
Guest 23-Apr-2006 15:49
Cheers for the Hop piccies Mike. I come across like Rodney Bewes on acid but hey ho :-). Apart from the ones of me, you've caught some really nice images capturing the flavour of the evening (vindaloo mainly!)

David, Thanks for the comments...you should see the amount I deleted!! Lighting is very difficult there too, plus I have a reluctance to use flash!

Thanks for the sax...Mike.

Cheers for the Horse and Groom piccies Michael. You've got some excellent shots despite the venues tight dimensions and various wooden bits getting in the way. Fabulous composition going on too. Very impressed.

Mike - found your site. Like a lot of the photos - well I would because you shoot the same subjects as me! However it's clear you get out a lot more than I do with a professional eye on the what you're seeing - keep it up.

Martin,

Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the pictures...some of the ones I shot were just too much to be on a website and decency has made me leave them out!! Keep smiling and keep pedalling!
Michael.

I really enjoyed looking through the East St Cycles shoot, never thought lycra loonies could look so good, well done, now we will have to ride as good as we look!!

Aivis,

Many thanks for your comments, and having looked at your pictures I know what you mean...we have a similar eye.

Perhaps at times it is too easy to get from digital to web/email. I think if I used film I would not take anything like the number of pictures I do with digital....but I would probably produce a similar number of good ones!

Michael.

Hi, Michael
I enjoyed looking at your pictures. I sensed similar thinking with some of your pictures (in a way i look for taking pictures) - thoughtful, simple things considered as a beauty.
...good digital camera makes a difference in sharing pictures with others - fast and simple. i probably will need to wait some years to get my dream camera. My pictures goes through quite a long process till they turn "digital"
thanks for sharing. aivis from Latvia

If you have any information that would be helpful please email back. Also great photo gallery, excellent pictures.

Hello Michael,

I am really impressed with your pictures, I think you have a real talent. Although good to look at and varied, what struck me most was they were interesting to look at and I think that is important (not to be bored)

I will view your site and enjoy, especially when I look at the tranquility of your views.

Thank you for sharing.

ps. please please - no more of me xx
