The bird normally carried this drooped wing posture when sitting in the road, which it would sometimes do for 5-10 minutes at a time, usually until flushed by a vehicle. The thin bill and very pale underparts are readily apparent.

This is only the 4th Ash-throated to have been found in TN, this one by Mac and Susan McWhirter.
