I agree.... nice portrait and crop. Personally, I would try a little more contrast. Missing a white (or whiter - Zone 6) point..... try the wrist of the subject's right hand. This would give you a little more dynamic range in the shot. -Aussieexpat-

Nice portrait! Good crop! You kept in what's necessary, nothing more, nothing less.. which is important! In some way this man reminds me of actor Sam Neill.
