500/750/1050/1350/1890mm Photos

Thanks Jim! Jim Cubbage was nice enough to lend me the use of his Nikkor 500mm lens and AF-S TC-14E II 1.4x Teleconverter.
Actually, most of these images were taken without the teleconverter, a configuration I like best because of the auto-focus speed.
Technically:
With either the D700 or D800 in DX (24x16), I'm getting 750mm (500x1.5(the 'crop factor')) with this lens; 1050mm(500x1.5x1.4) with the 1.4 teleconverter added.
Using the Nikon 1 (V1 or V3) with FT-1 adapter, the 500mm gets me 1350mm(500x2.7(the 'crop factor')); adding the 1.4 teleconverter gets 1890mm focal length.
Of course, getting the lens on a small target, now that's the challenge.
Was asked if I took these photos 'Hand Held'; No, all were taken using a Manfrotto tripod.
