I've assumed from field shots that the Minolta 70-210 f4.0 Beercan is softer in the long end. That might be marginally true but certainly not as much as I thought.
These two comparisons are at a significantly narrower angle of view compared to previous test but similar to each other. I just couldn't get back far enough.
The test chart does not have fine enough delineations to stress the lens in this situation.
