Sony A7RII vs Canon A1.jpg

This is a relative size comparison between my second generation 35mm full frame mirrorless Sony a7RII and my old 35mm Canon A1 SLR film camera purchased in 1978.

Admittedly this is an apples to oranges comparison. There’s a huge differential between this (now) new state-of-the-art mirrorless camera and what once was a state-of-the-art film camera from 40 years ago.
Here my A1 has a Canon 50mm FDn prime lens on it and I've revised this image of my a7RII with the newish Sony FE 50mm f1.8 (summer 2016). The FE is an optically far superior lens.

In the other size comparisons, I was using stock promotional images of the a7R whereas this is my a7RII.
