How can I purchase some of your photos. I would like to use one or two of the horse photos as murals. Your work is amazing. I can't get enough of the wild horses.

Thank-you for these amazing photos..My first horse was a mustang which I was in the 4th grade..living out in the country in California..my dad bought her after seeing how she had been treated by neighbors..her and I were inseparable..I was so afraid of her after she bucked everyone off only being green broke..but my dad made me ride her, soon no one else could ride her except me..and she was so gentle with me..having no kids to play with, no kids close by..she was my best friend..she will always be a fond memory as she is long gone now..And I know the wildness, the softness, touch and feel, and the ride of a mustang! Thank-you for bringing back fond memories!

I am so impressed with your work! Your images are like paintings--some of the best I've seen.

Just took an escape through your photos. Enjoyed your comments and story line about the mustangs. Had been looking for an image I'd seen the Wall Street journal within an article about the BLMs plan to castrate some of the stallions and the uproar that is creating. I've loved wild horses for many reasons all my life. Glad to run across your images. Thank your for sharing your passion.

A good friend of mine and fellow photographer recommended that I view your PBase site. She has been following your work on PBase for some time and thought I would enjoy it. She sent me the link to your "Heart of Wild Horses" Gallery. Where I sent the next 2 hours getting to know each horse through the stories you shared. What a unique opportunity for you and your son to have the pleasure of being part of these majestic creatures lives. I can't imagine what it must like to show up and find that one of them has passed due to senseless human behavior.
Your images are breath taking, providing the viewer the feeling of being there with you. I have been a horse person all my life and worked in the industry as a coach and show groom up until 2 years ago when injuries led my down a different path. Photography has filled the void, and I have recently started capturing images at local riding events. I am inspired by your work. Thank you.
Cheers,
Max

Hi there..I love your wild horse photos! I have been riding since I was 9 yrs old! Love the scenery, I am originally from Kentucky, but now live in Arizona. I just starting taking a digital photography class and just now learning how to use our camera. Where were the photos taken? When? Blair

Hello D.B. Young
Im a 16 year old girl from Denmark. I have a user om the site www.minstald.dk, and that's a site where you kan breed animals virtualy, and for that I need pictures. so I wanted to ask you if it is ok if I use the picktures of the animals. I don't earn money on it, it is just for fun. but I just don't have the money to buy a camera. the picktures won't be used anywhere else. hope to hear from you soon.

your photos are breath taking, your photography is superlative. I can not believe you live only a few miles up the road from me, I am in Dammeron Valley and was doing a search for photos of mustangs. I own a Sulpher herd mare, ride her all over the place and wouldn't trade her for the world. Do you sell any of your photos to artist for painting purposes? Are you on Etsy, because I know your photos would sell like crazy there. Thanks for posting the information on the wild mustangs plight, I would own more if I could.

I first looked at your pictures of the mustangs..absolutely the best I have seen! I have a mustang from Wyoming & am traveling to Utah this spring to see the wild ones there. Your pictures are truly inspiring. Unbelieveable..I will pass on to all I know. Thank you so much for sharing their beauty with us all!!! They make me smile.

I have been a member of PBase for over 5 years and am seldom moved to comment let alone sign a guest book. There are many, many talented photographers here, but few true artists...You, my friend, are one. Some powerful stuff, you should do something with it.
Kathy Jedrzejczyk 04-Nov-2009 00:57
You have some amazing photos of Mt. Timp. I live in SLC and also love photography. None of my stuff even comes close to your awesome shots. Really nice!

I loved the pictures in both your galleries - they are truly amazing! I also tagged you as a Favorite and hope to see many more photos shared by you in the future. Your eye for capturing a beautiful sight - whether landscape/reflections or of wild horses is captivating. Seeing your gallery of the High Country made me want to move from central Texas to be your neighbor. How far away from a city/town are you and how much snowfall do you get in Winter time where you live? What's the nearest city that I could travel to on a vacation and try and see some of the sights that you see all of the time?
Guest 14-Jul-2008 15:14
