16th September 2005 road home

I took the dual cabbageway home,
after spending the night at work
up in the Ivory Tower.
I pulled in and got this rainbow
just before it faded.
Now I am fading.
I'll be asleep in a few minutes...

Was this the main road before the cabbageway was built & does it go a few mile until you come to the spot where a bridge USED to be ???
