The White Peacock

There is a park near to where I live that hosts a flock of free roaming peacocks. There is one white male that is so special. He is usually off in a distant part of the park that is off limits to visitors, but on this occasion I found him in the park center and was able to get a shot. I normally wouldn't think of presenting a peacock shot in monochrome, but in this case it seemed to fit OK.

Actually, I think mono is perfect for this. It really makes us focus on the tones and the wonderful textures of his feathers. ~BV~
