This is the image a bird has when looking up from feeding and finding its self in a Cooper's sights.
I had been looking through a large mixed flock of Lapland Longspurs, Pipits and Meadowlarks when I saw the bird closing. It went after a Meadowlark but after a few twists and turns around my truck the young Cooper's broke it off and landed in a nearby willow.
