The first week of August is when the First Immature Semisands appear and the second is always good for Western youngsters. Now both can be seen in their new coats along with the brilliant young Least that have been around since mid July. A lot of adult Least Sandpipers have tranformed from their ratty breeding frocks into slick gray basic plumage.
