Most of the birds vacated the shorebird habitat at Ensley and the North Treatment Plant in Memphis Sunday night. They moved in advance of a cold front, on north winds that had blown for a couple of days. Monday morning, I found this Western, and on Tuesday 2 Baird's and 3 Semipalmated Plovers, all in juvenile plumage, at the North Treatment Plant. The Baird's and Semi-plovers were FOS immatures and the Western immatures had only been seen for less than a week.
