Hi Jerry, you have somme marvelous birds shots. You have probably spend a lot of hours to get such pics. Is it possible to know your technique ? some instructions about your making of ? I am fascinated by your excellent work. If the distance were not to high from France to the US, I would be happy to go seu you ! Best regards. Pierre

Jerry,
I am a soon to be retired math teacher (40 years in the trenches). I think your bird photos are the best I have ever seen. Could I ask what camera and lens you use? I am toying with the idea of purchasing a new camera so I am very interested to know which one you use. Of course, I do know that it is 99% photographer and 1% equipment, but that 1% can't do any harm. I appreciate any advice or help you could give me.

I do a lot of birds but nothing as good as yours--I wish you had info with the flying birds on how you do it and what equipment you use--do you use a flash with them. Love the bird gallery/ brucej12002@yahoo.com.

Hi Gerry, thanks for the info on the CD. Got it Fri and am shooting with a friend, between us we have 4 strobs and that seems to work. Shot this morning with OK results, have to work on a background. Also our hummers are not that colorful. One male but did not get a good shot of him. Bees are a prob. as has been very day here. Again thanks for the help, will be in WI to shoot Fall color end of Sept or Oct.

Dear Gerry,
Until recently, I was owned by Arctic/Timber/Malamute mix HIKU, and after seeing your wonderful photos, I wish I had taken more pictures of him. He looked just like your white Arctic wolf!! Well, memories never fade, as I hope your photo gallery doesn't. Fantastic! Thanks so much, Gail

Dear Gerry,
My name is Gianluca Posella, i saw all your beautiful photos about wolves and i've had the idea to realize a short movie about them, named: "Wild Life: two sides of the same medal" in wich i wanna say that in different percentages everyone got two side, one evil and another good.. i will never have money income from this short movie, (i think his lenght will be around 4 minutes) i would just do it because of my passion for nature, photography and music.
I wanna show in the title of the movie your name as photo's author, and in every frame i will choose for the movie, i will continue show your signature. I will like to post this video on the net, maybe youtube or something similar.
Please, let me know if i can receive your authorization to use some of your photos doing the movie.,
Best regards from Italy.

Thanks Gerry, for the recent pictures of this wolf family. They are so intimate and capture all their moods. It keeps me in touch when I am unable to be there.

Hi Gerry!
I'm pretty impressed by the pictures your trail cams made.
Do you have pictures of such a camera setup?
I imagine they must be a lot of effort getting them to work for a summer in the wilderness.

Hi Gerry,
Thanks for stopping by my galleries. You asked about the Blackwater Falls shot. I didn't use a ND filter. It was late in the afternoon and cloudy. The light was fairly even, so I shot it straight up. I'd love to get light like that all the time. Thanks for you kind comments.
