Hiya Neil,
this walk around Haystacks and Buttermere as this photo or Robinson to Maiden Moor and onto Cats Bells for Derwent Water as another fine example all from Buttermere.
(very nice home made icecream and cream teas btw at Buttermere cafe)
- Wont you just miss the Lakes like crazy! now that you moved away now live in Australia?
All your Lake District photos are beautiful of course, and i admire all of them wonderful colors and with great composition.
Funny thing i sometimes do wonder if i crossed your path in the Lakes or the Peak District many a time, as i shoot a lot of stock photography around these same areas and at about the same time as you were there?
is a small world - unless your in Australia.

with my best wish's mate,
Michael Thompson

I did wonder if it was something automatic. Strange one, that. Anyway it looks like your pictures are getting even better with the new kit, however confused Pbase are by it! :)

Thanks Dave, the 35mm equivalent has been placed there by Pbase and I'm mystified by it as much as you.

My favourite place in the world - and well captured too! Loads of detail and contrast.I'm itching to get back up there.
I'm not sure why you're calculating 35mm equivalent angles of view though - the 5D is a full frame camera?......
