This is one of the towers in the big heliostat fields in Nipton, CA.
The white glows are from the focused light that is so bright that
it lights up the traces of moisture in the air. The glow is actually
a halo that surrounds the tower, but you only see the glow on the
sides of the halo, where you're looking lengthwise along the halo.
No matter what direction you view it from, you see two glowing spots.
