Hi my name is Tom and I am 7 years old. I like to photograph birds just like you. My favourite bird is a kereru. I have a sony A37 camera and like to take photos in my garden at the river and the Wellington gardens and other places. When I am older I want to get a camera just like yours. I love your photos so much!

hello peter, your bird fotos are truly outstanding. My name is kieran kinney and I am a conservation volunteer for Cabarita dunecare on the far north coast of NSW. We are currently putting together some interpretive signs for our local nature trail and looking to include beautiful fotos of our local fauna. May we use your great foto of the red backed fairy wren on one of our signs? Kind regards

Hi Peter

Your photography is beautiful. I am an artist in Christchurch and I have been commissioned to paint a scene of Lake Benmore for a wedding present. The photos I have been given to use are not great and I was wondering if I would be able to use your Lake Benmore - Mt Cook image and if so, what is the procedure for gaining permission, and if there would be a cost etc.

Thanks so much for your help.
Janice

Hi Peter
I think I spoke to you at the camera club last week. Now I see why your images stood out from so many of the others. Beautiful photos, and nice to meet you.
Kind regards.

Hi Peter,
I was browsing the web for photos of the Grey Warbler and came across your photo located onhttp://www.pbase.com/image/114947052 . It is an impressive shot of a seldom photographed bird! I represent Wild-Card and am gathering professional photographs for use in our new series of Sound Cards. We have an existing series as seen on www.wild-card.org. I was wondering if you would be interested to sell rites to publish that photo on one of our new series? We would also give credit to the you the photographer and print a URL or email address on the card to promote your work. Does this sound like something you would be interested in? Feel free to email me at grahame(at)wild-card.org. Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Regards,
Grahame on behalf of the wild-card team

Hi Peter
I'm interested in using this image: /peterbray/image/64070885 of Te Waihora. It is for an interpretation panel I am helping put together for Ladbrooks School, for a planting site by the banks of the Halswell. I’m an Educator based at Environment Canterbury and have worked alongside the School for a number of years on this site and their other projects to improve the lake.
I have a small budget for putting this sign together so would be keen to find out if we can use the photo and how much it would cost. I do have a 'Plan B', another image we already have copyright for, but yours much better: an incredibly nice shot of a not always photogenic lake!
Please get in touch as soon as you can cos I am looking to have this finalised by end of tomorrow, Tues 1 Dec at latest.
Thanks, Paul

Hi Peter

I googled Banded Dotterel and fell on your fantastic photo of this lovely little bird. I am part of a small group of people trying to protect some dunes and associated bird life etc at a beach in South Wairarapa. I am presently designing an informative sign to explain our endeavours and would dearly love to use this photo. Any chance of obtaining a digital copy and if so how much? My email is barton@niupacific.co.nz Look forward to hearing from you. Great photography!

Hi Peter,

My name is Cecile van der Burgh and I work for the Wilderness Society in NSW. This is probably the best photograph of an Eastern Yellow Robin that I have ever encountered!

We are working on a project to protect NSW's travelling stock routes for the long-term and i am currently developing a brochure and a website. I was wondering if we could use this image in these material to promote the protection of this important bird habitat?

I look forward to your reply. My phone number is 02 9282 9553

With thanks and best wishes
Cecile

Hi Peter,
I found your pictures by googling Australian birds. First, as a birdwatcher, your beautiful bird pictures really made me want to visit Australia. Then, as I spent time looking, I passionately wanted to become a good photographer. I became enthralled with your work, so I visited other galleries. All wonderful. So, I checked out your profile. I expected you would be elderly with such a good body of work. Incredibly, you are young, and have a lot of other time-consuming hobbies as well. Amazing! Thank you for taking the time to put these on the web.

Do you sell any of your photos. We have a caravan at Lake Coleridge. We do have some really nice photos of the Lake and the surrounding mountains but not as good as yours.
My husband's 60th birthday is coming us soon and I thought it would be an ideal present.
Can you email back.
