Thank you for the photos of Thailand, especialy the underwater and seashore. Your photographic skill made me feel the serenity you are trying to covey. Many of them moved me beyond my ability to describe. Thanks and the very best of luck to you.

Hello Brussels Sprout, I hope you can help me. I am an artist disabled with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ALS "Lou Gehrig's disease " also called motor neuron disease MND. This progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease has left me paralyzed in a wheelchair unable to care for myself.

To raise awareness of ALS/MND I have started a project attempting to get a piece of my art photographed in every country in the world. I am looking for a way to get a piece my artwork photographed in Belgium. I can e-mail a JPEG image of the art to you, then you can print it, photograph the printout of my art on location and e-mail the image back to me. I ask that the picture be taken outside with some distinguishable features to tell me where the photograph was taken. I also ask that you tell me the place/ town it is photographed in and any other interesting information you might wish to include.

This is strictly a noncommercial project. Despite my severe disability, I have done a considerable amount of work for the ALS Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the United States, appeared on television several times, featured in national and local publications, testified at government hearings in support of the disabled, etc.

This project seems impossible sitting at home every day in my wheelchair. But it can come true with a little help from the kindness of strangers. I ask you kindly to give it serious consideration. A small amount of your time will make a world of difference to me!

I hope you can help me with this important request or refer me to someone who can. Thanks for your time and I look forward to your response, sincerely, Fred Siwak, Ipswich, Massachusetts, United States of America. E-mail: seaweed@gis.net

I'm trying so hard to reach every country. Is there any way you can help me with Belgium? Thanks!

Once again it was a pleasure to browse your photos. One is able to go around the world in pretty shot time and without much effort. Better yet we all get to see it through your eyes. Many enchanting photos here! Thanks.

Hi. Thanks for commenting about the conversions. Of all posted I really like three as B&W's. The rest are okay, but I prefer them in color. – Tom

I have just recently started taking photos, and am finding it is a wonderful creative output for me. The most frustrating part is seeing the shot and making it come out the way I envision, so I am working on learning the technical side, but at times stumble. Your galleries hold dozens of pictures that inspire me, so, thank you for that. I would love any feedback on my work that you could give.

Thank you,
~Hope

I joined Pbase not so long ago, so I don't know if this is the best way to comment. You reacted on my pictures from Scotland, including the Aurora Borealis. Thanks for your compliments, but you also know how to make a good picture.
Concrats with your Rebel.... ;-) An SLR camera gives you more control over the photo and is quicker in focussing. I have a Pentax *ist D, because I have a lot of extra lenses that fit on the body. I am also very pleased with it.

A bientôt

Hello, Frederic!
Thanks for your nice comments on my galleries.
You have some amazing stuff her, also.
Ireland, Cuba a twin D300...We seem to be onto the same things. There are even some photos of yours that could have been made by me, composition and aesthetically wise. Kind of weird, hum..?!
You have made a great option, buying the D300. I am kind of amazed of what already comes out of the camera and I am only starting to get the hang of it. What was your previous DC?
Thanks once more and be sure I'll be dropping by...Meanwhile I'll also leave a comment on my favorite photo of yours.
Happy shooting!

Hi Fred, your pictures of Maldives is really beautiful; I never was in maldivas.I pretend to go there some day because the dive is great. Answering your question I use some kinds of cameras like Nikonos V and Nikon F1OO in case Sea&Sea. I have Nikon D100 camera too, but I don’t have underwater case yet. I will begin to take photos underwater with D100 in the near future. With digital camera is easier to share pictures in pbase.

Mauricio

You have travelled to many beautiful places around Europe and taken some great photos. How about making a gallery of Brugge, Belgium. You are the most suited person to do that and many would instantly fall in love with it I am sure. Greeting from Canada.
You are invited to visit my gallery of Hunza, Pakistan. I find Europeans take more interest in that area. Arif.

Merci pour ton commentaire laissé sur ma gallerie. C'est très sympa :)
Moi j'ai beaucoup aimé ta gallerie Morroco. je n'y suis jamais allé, mais tes photos
