An antique, 19th Century tsakli painting in mineral pigments depicting one of the 8 jewel
ornaments of the Bodhisattvas - the crown. A red diadem of 5 points each bearing a 'norbu' - or wish fulfilling precious
jewel, within stylised flames set before the high chignon of the bodhisattva, which is tied in 'stupa form' by a swirling
ribbon and studded with further jewels. A silken celestial scarf is tied around the terminal points of the diadem, and floats
in elegant swirls to the ground. 8.6 x 9.8cm
