When I moved to D2x, one thing I was enjoying the most was the increased pixel density compared to my old D70 in shooting the moon. However, I lost that advantage when I upgraded to D3. This is the first time I shot the moon since getting the D800. The memories of the excitement of high pixel density immediately came back. This is by far the best moon shot I have taken without a telescope.

Now, I need to get the 500/4 VR ;-)
