Two Weeks in Italy

Ann and her gang went to: CHEF CLAUDIO'S COOKING SCHOOL in Figline Valdarno, for a week.
I stayed at the HOTEL CORYS in Cortona and drove through the hilltowns and countryside.

After the class, we met up for a visit to Venice and Florence by train

I loved these galleries. Must add for other viewers that these photos are large (no larger than the screen though) and PBase has a default that resizes these for us, without telling us, down to 800x600 ('large' vs 'original') but they don't sharpen back up after resizing down to that moderate size, which winds up not as clear. SO, if you have a fast connection, go underneath the first enlarged photo and click on "Original" to get the stunner original versions. Beautiful work and eye, Robert.

Very fine, both technically and artistically. I liked your detailed descriptions, but would have preferred if you kept like things together. Both Florence and Venice look much cleaner than they did when I saw them some years ago. First class work! - Max

Someone said of Italy that it is "bathed in golden light". Perhaps Shelley. Your fine album captures that, as well as being intelligently observed, beautifully rendered. Thanks.
