This was our attempt to get to Mt Speculation on 19 May 2007. The weather turned on us and we had to shelter on the slopes of Mt Buggery. The trek up to the peak was slow due to the new growth from the fires in 2006. A hard slog but worth the effort. We will return in the summer to see where we got to. Visability less than 20 metres on the peak.
