Great tree photos, Paul! Got engaged there in Java, March 2009. Now married. Anyway, having helluva time identifying that one tree "at Mendut temple in central Java" you depict. It is identical looking to pics I took in Jogjakarta Zoo. If you help me out, kind sir, I gladly will share these with you. I am writing a book and need to identify this tree. Thanks.

Hi Paul. May I use your photo of the Java man at Sangiran? I will of course credit you. If you would like to be paid for this, we pay about SGD100 per page if the photo is used for a full page context.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my photos of Borobudur. Unfortunately, I was there during the rainy season, so my photos don't have the wonderful blue sky that yours have. And by the way, if you want to go back and see the Borobudur at sunrise, stay at the Manohara Hotel, which is in the park and right beside the temple. You can also see it then lit up at night. (I didn't stay there & only found out about the place when I went to Borobudur.)

Hello

I love your pictures. I backpacked through Indonesia during my Gap Year and I loved the country and the people. But it was 10 Years ago. I would love to return. How safe is it there now ? Especially when travelling with children ?

Paul

I found your photos of Suralaya power station. I hope you don't mind but I appropriated one for the Top 100 section of the website "Power Plants Around the World" (www.industcards.com). If you send me your postal mailing address, I will mail you a set of Power Plant Trading Cards in return.

Sincerely yrs

I just came back from Indonesia the 22 of January 05. I was there for about two weeks.

I visited Jakata, Surabaya, Megalan, Semaran. I saw Jakarta miniature, Borodur Temple, Marapi volcano observatory center, went on a safary and visited parks and resorts.
Your picture helped me very much to tell more about my trip. They are very well detailed and look great and over all.

Thank you very much.

Paul - I've just taken a look at all of the images that I believe are currently contained within your various galleries. They certainly make very attractive pictures - I found the butterflies and insects particularly satisfying.

I look forward to viewing more - please keep me posted.
