We would like to use one of your photos ref 40687095 of Guildford Cathedral at night on a charity website related to cathedrals, showing credit to you. Please advise by return if we may have that permission please

Brilliant work. How do you get your pictures so tack sharp? I was astounded by the Iron work shot on the RAF Memorial. Any advice using the Canon 60mm macro?

Ric

I thought you might like to see my first attempts at HDR after finding your pictures this morning.

Hi Ric
Great gallery and for a new DSLR user, lots of insperation.
Came across your pictures whilst searching for where to find local sites to photograph.
I sit here itching to experiment with my Canon EOS400 and can never think of where to go locally.
You have answered my dilema nicely.

Thank you.

Nice set of photos you have there. Now if only I can rid of my dial up connection, I will have something to upload for you to see.

I see something very different for your particular set of pictures but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Hi Ric

Just wanted to say that like others I found your pbase listing while looking for images using the EFS60mm Macro.

Talk about synchronicity though - we have been to Plett, Shamwari, Hermanus, Cape Town most recently - it was a our third visit to SA.

If you want to view my Hermanus whale movie taken in 2003 herehttp://www.villagevisits.co.uk/gallery.shtml?c=show_thumbs;p=South%20Africa

I have yet to upload the pictures I took last year to my site but there are some herehttp://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1031&message=15363727

Oh forgot to say, Surrey based as well!

:)

Hello Ric,
I just bought the canon 60 mm (it will take some weeks before I will get the lense). I'm a beginning macro photographer. I used the canon 100 mm macro.http://www.jpetit.com/macro.htm)I was happy tot see your beautiful pictures, seeing the pictures makes me impatient, the pictures you made respond to my expectations so I can't hardly wait.....

Hi
You have a great image of a Southern Right Whale taken in Hermanus we would like to use it for a whale story in our magazine, its about Hermanus and whale watching and we think it would be great in our publication

Ric, I found your site while looking for an evaluation of the Canon 60mm EF-S macro. Great site! Loved the railroad photos. I was surprised to see the squirrels - they appear to be the same gray squirrels that run the fences by my home in Florida! Thanks for the inspiration to take more photos (working with a Digital Rebel).

Thought I'd post here as well: Thanks Ric. My photo interest is pretty eclectic and I see I'm not the only one. I just started to really get into this photo-world and just stepped up from a kyocera FC S3 to a 20D. Now I need to acquire a lens collection and another two life-times to use all this good stuff. Your gallery inspires some experimentation in my immediate future. Good work! g
