Summer

It’s hard to believe it’s officially summer and we have been
through six months of this pandemic. I hope we will have learned
enough to help us get to a better place in the next six months.

Excellent closeup of this beauty. The lack of leadership in some countries just makes things worse. V

Une superbe fleur pour annoncer un été qui espérons que le sera beau et chaud et si possible avec moins de covid.

Love the details you captured in the flower center. I hope you are right about learning from the last six months, but I'm afraid that here right now I can see no sign of cumulative intelligence.

definitely summer now, as exemplified by your subject...whatever we have learned we must remember, for a second wave seems inevitable..

In your country sure, but in many others...?
Superb close-up ! V.

Beautiful colors and great detail. Nice crop too. "V"
Some have learned, some just a little and many nothing.

I’m afraid this is gonna take another whole year. Cases are on the rise rapidly. Ppl are getting easy with the restrictions and wear less and less their masks. I hope I’m wrong but I have no optimistic view for the near future. The flower is gorgeous though. V

I hope so but I think that the odds are against it. I see few masks worn and if the horrific advance of the disease hasn't changed habits what will. A pretty picture..by the way, Raymond

How lovely :) V
PS I worry about where we'll be six months from now :( (and I'm not normally a pessimist !)

Excellent closeup of this gorgeous flower. I don't think we, at least, have learned enough... V.
