The shadowy world of "Pack Mentality" by artists Syd Danger, Pamilia Pinard

This mural was painted in black & white...
so I thought I would shoot it in mono.

Very cool and smart choice for black and white.

Excellent choice to remain in monochrome tones. The
shadow details works well with this composition.

Yes, the pack mentality...but the canine seem more in control than our illustrious species in spite of this. A well thought out decision to maintain the monochrome aspect of the artist's work.

What a marvelous mural - love those wolves - we used to see them quite often up north when the lake froze every year. BV

Very well done both the mural and your photo. Black and white was a fine choice.
Nick Paoni04-Nov-2020 20:25
This works well in mono. Love the "NO PARKING" sign as if a warning about all those wolves.

an accomplished work, and it certainly energizes the alley...those angled shadows offer dynamism, although the wolves still steal the display..

Sort of a scary mural that looks great in B&W. V.

I find the peripheral aspects very interesting and it adds very much to the image. "VVV"
