“Entwined” by artist Linsey Levendall (South Africa)

“Depiction of the reflective state of being. The artwork is a figurative
representation of complete enthrallment, of being swept away in
emotion. Linsey created this work thinking about how caught up we
can all get, forgetting to pause and process the world around us.
Rocking out to his tunes, Linsey attached a paint brush to a long pole
and embodied his work. Spending days interacting and adding layers,
this production of this work was a reflection of the concept that
inspired it, to be in the moment, to feel, to reflect.”
