I've been dabbling in photography since the day my dad gave me a Kodak Brownie Reflex. I was 10. When I was 18 he began to teach me about shooting with a single lens reflex. He loaned me his old Canon, loaded it with black and white film, and I took shots of fishermen at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
My photographs the past years have been about telling a story -- my story. I'm a journalist and blogger. I write in my online diary and include photos to go with my entries, much like newspapers.
Photography is not an art for me. It is a glimpse into the eye of my mind, reflecting images back through a camera lens, then frozen for all time.
