Surfing Dog

People trying to teach their dog to surf isn't extremely unusual, and I expected this dog to jump off when the wave caught the board.
Instead, he got a long ride and actually seemed to be enjoying it, going back out for many more waves.
For number of waves caught during that time, he was probably ahead of any humans out there 8^).
His name is "Saint", and all I can say is "great job" to the owner and the dog, well done!

Hey Kat its Shelley out in Colorado. You need to get your ass out here and come visit, and bring that surfer dog Saint with you. We miss you and Saint.....lots of loves to the both of you, from all of us in CO.

Bye the way, tomorrow, we're going to 3-D photograph him for another surf movie, Surf Dogs. Can you imagine him coming at you in 3-D? He'd he more than famous! He'd be infamous! As my mountainbike pals says," Saint is NUTS!" though I neutered him. He's truleeeyyy terrific mind-reader of what I've yet to accomplish, karmic....Kungfu finging, poisoning and triumph the dog....amazing!!! all in the works of course.

That is the coolest dog ever. He chills outside my room and he is smart enough to open up the back gate all by himself and then blame it on me.

Sweet pics kat. I personally like the one where he's looking back. I think it catches the anticipation in his eyes for another wave. :)

No special clubs, you just got to love what you're doing, then invite your animal friend to join. Saint luckily wants to do everything, and I mean everything with me...mountainbike, mountain climb, volleyball, soccer....etc He would feel left out if he didn't get any of those opportunities. Plus he's a very good hunter, squirrels, fish, and gophers..a great gardener too!

One Cool Cat err Dog. Can not imagine what it takes to train a dog to surf. Do you know if Kathleen belongs to a special club - I notice some sort of emblem on her wet suit?
