Petersfriedhof (St. Peter's Cemetery) is the oldest cemetary in Salzburg, located next to St. Peter's Abbey, a Catholic church and monastery dating to the 17th century. Carved into the rock below the fortress are catacombs. One of the catacomb chapels dates from aroudn 1178!
