Reflections On A Wicked Ride

I took a ride alone today in the wicked NY snow. Have you
ever taken one of those solitary rides where it seemed your
whole life passed you by?

"Who's gonna pick you up when you fall?
Who's gonna hang it up when you call?
You can't go on, thinking nothing's wrong...
Who's gonna drive you home tonight?"

-The Cars, "Drive" 1984

Everyone needs a break and it sounds like this drive was a good way to get away from the blues. I agree with what everyone else had said, just get out there and enjoy life at your own pace and in your own way!

It's a cycle, Sam. Sometimes we just need a break to have a better perspective of life. Photography, gears are just supplements. Post whenever, shoot whenever and yes you should spend more time discovering what's out there. You never know, you might find a treasure to keep. :D

I find empty desert roads offer a safe haven for mind clearing drives. Best wishes for a revitalized Sam.

know what you mean Sam...this picture says it all...beginning to feel the same..a break from the treadmill of buying, posting, all this computer time...is sorely needed, you know?

You better make the right move"

I like the snow on the road..;.why when i drive my motorcycle i am happy on the snow,in the fog,in the freeze, perhaps a little crazy sure, but I do not know where are my limits.your pict reminds this time so cool...Sometimes we must think another things of photography and he photography is only a part of life,if it sis the life it is very difficult..
It is more difficult with a camera movie,it takes all the emotion .I like and I hate.
